Be awed by the beauty of Lake Tahoe
Nature lovers flock to Lake Tahoe in summer to plunge into the aquamarine water and explore the trails. The Flume Trail offers some of the most spectacular views, whether hiking or cycling. If the full 32 kilometres sounds too much, you can see the best vistas on the seven-kilometre stretch from Lake Marlette to Tunnel Creek Road. Meanwhile in winter, Tahoe is a powder-chaser’s paradise, with 15 ski resorts including Mt Rose, which boasts Lake Tahoe’s highest base elevation at 2500 metres.
