The Naviti Resort – Hotel Review
Heaven is an all-inclusive Fijian resort. The Naviti Resort is a veritable holiday playground for families on Viti Levu’s Coral Coast with an all-day kids’ club. Read on for the full review.
Although guests can book rooms without package inclusions, opting for all-inclusive takes any stress out of stays at this relaxed resort by gathering meals, some drinks and activities from unlimited golf to stand-up paddleboarding into a prepaid package fee. That means you can confidently roll from the breakfast buffet to a lunchtime wine and into a three-course dinner without breaking out a sweat — or the credit card.
Where is The Naviti Resort?
You’ll find The Naviti Resort at land’s edge on the southern coast of Viti Levu, Fiji’s largest island. It’s a little under two hours’ drive from Nadi airport.
What’s near The Naviti Resort?
This part of the Coral Coast is delightfully low key, meaning most of your activities will be concentrated at the resort. There are a few notable attractions nearby, however: the mammoth mounds of Sigatoka Dunes National Park is about 40 minutes’ drive, while the Kula Wild Adventure Park, the country’s largest fun park, is just 25 minutes away by car.

Simply decorated with tiles and black wicker accents, rooms at the Naviti forgo trends and lean on local decorative styles instead. Whether room, suite or villa, all focus is on the views of lush gardens or the Pacific Ocean. You’ll find comfy pillow-top beds, fruit baskets (in suites and villas) and the option for interconnecting rooms — perfect for families who need a little separation come evening time.
Restaurants and bars
Choose your view at The Naviti’s eateries: Nukunuku Restaurant & Bar overlooks the pool, Talei Restaurant has views of the golf course, Bamboo Terrace is in the gardens and Grill Restaurant glimpses the lapping ocean. Nukunuku offers a breakfast and lunch buffet, while fine-diner Talei covers everything from ceviche-esque kokoda to pumpkin ravioli. For Malay- and Cantonese-inspired dishes (with fresh local seafood, from prawns to lobster), head to Bamboo Terrace. And for burgers with a sea breeze, stop into Grill Restaurant.
Travel for work
If you insist on working while visiting, you’ll be pleased to find a full-sized desk in every room. There’s also free wi-fi throughout the hotel (although for only a single device per room) and a conference space for up to 40 people, near the nine-hole golf course.
Pool, gym and spa
Native coconut trees ring the resort’s pool, crowned by a swim-up bar serving beverages of all types, including custom cocktails. Elsewhere, the Naviti Gym, housed in its own pavilion overlooking the ocean, is sure to shake up your workout routine with the views alone. There’s also a small on-site spa, Joy Spa, with two treatment rooms.
