The improved Qantas App offers a personalised way to manage your trip and make starting your holiday even easier. If you haven’t already downloaded it, or updated it recently, here are six of our team’s favourite features to get you started.
1. Save time at the airport and check in online
You can check in quickly and easily with just a few taps on the app (or online) for selected international and domestic flights and have your boarding pass ready to go on your device. All that’s left to do is go to the bag drop and you’re set.
2. Book your entire trip in one place
Plan and book all elements of your trip – flights, hotels, car hire, activities and transfers – in one place. You can even log in with your Qantas Frequent Flyer number and pay for flights and hotels with Qantas Points.
3. Keep a digital version of your Qantas Frequent Flyer card on hand
No more scrambling through your wallet for the physical card. The app stores a digital version of the card that you can easily reference and scan. You’ll also be able to view your Qantas Points and Status Credits balance all in one place.
4. Get a personalised time line and alerts

All elements of your trip will be visible in one easy-to-follow time line. The app share important alerts such as when check-in opens, your baggage allowance, departure -gate assignment and changes, and baggage collection info so you can head straight to the right carousel. And, if you're eligible for lounge status, the app will advise you which ones you can go to.
