What is Qantas Fly Flexible?

For your booking to be covered by Fly Flexible you must have booked an eligible flight with Qantas and have it fulfill these conditions:

  • To be used for travel between 1 November 2021 and 31 December 2022

Australia-New Zealand flights

  • Flight must be booked between 15 October 2020 and 30 June 2022
  • To be used for travel between 16 October 2020 and 31 December 2022

Australian domestic flights

  • Flight must be booked between 21 May 2020 and 30 April 2022
  • To be used for travel between 12 June 2020 and 30 April 2022

How to change your flight

Even if you’ve started working on your itinerary and packing your bags, it’s important to allow for a change of plans. If you have to make use of Qantas Fly Flexible to alter the dates of your international or Trans-Tasman flight, simply go to the Manage Booking page, enter your booking reference and last name, and select the change option before your scheduled date of departure.

The new flight dates must be within 12 months of your original booking date and fare differences may apply.

How to use your flight credit

If you aren’t sure when to rebook your flight for, you may prefer to request a flight credit instead – just remember that fare differences may apply when making your new booking and they’ll need to be covered by you. Qantas has created a handy video to walk you through the process.

Flight Credits are valid for one year from the date you made your original booking and the Qantas standard fare rules apply.
