South America’s first luxury sleeper train traverses the varied terrain of the Andes, across jagged mountains dotted with alpacas, through tiny traditional villages and right to Peru’s pinnacle: Machu Picchu. The cabins are all ensuite with cosy seating areas and there are two restaurant cars, an open-air observation deck, a lounge car and a spa car.
