Three Reasons to Visit Melbourne’s Newest Shopping Precinct
St Collins Lane, a spanking-new shopping and dining precinct, opens this month in Melbourne’s CBD. Here are three reasons you should drop in.
Design
Australian firm ARM Architecture is behind the complex, which is inspired by Melbourne’s laneway culture and links Collins and Little Collins streets. The three-storey retail centre is spread over 9000 square metres and features a vast, custom-printed Barrisol stretch-fabric, backlit ceiling.

Shopping
Sought-after French brands Sandro and Maje will open their first Australian flagship stores, along with British cult label Reiss. TAG Heuer, Coach, Furla and The Kooples will also be in the mix.
Food
The shopping centre’s dining level, The Aviary, is no ordinary food court. It has eight restaurants, two kiosks and two alfresco areas, as well as Neil Perry’s first Burger Project outlet in Melbourne. Also check out authentic Mexican restaurant Los Vida.
