To unlock Points Club and Points Club Plus, you need to earn 150,000 points or 350,000 points, respectively, in a Frequent Flyer Membership Year. These points can be earned on the ground (up to 125,000 per transaction), acquired from flying (20,000), and be transferred from a Qantas Business Rewards account (up to 20,000). If you earn over 350,000 points, you’ll unlock Points Club Plus, which gives you even more exclusive benefits. We count up to 125,000 points per transaction for points earned on the ground, up to 20,000 points earned from flying, and up to 20,000 points transferred from your Qantas Business Rewards account per Membership Year. Your overall Qantas Points balance is shown when you log in to your Frequent Flyer account. This balance represents the total number of Qantas Points you have accumulated since you joined the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program and can be redeemed on flights, hotel stays, and other rewards. These points have been accumulated over multiple Membership Years.
For Points Club, we count the points earned in your current Membership Year. The points that contribute to Points Club are those earned on the ground (up to 125,000 per transaction), acquired from flying (up to 20,000 per Membership Year), and transferred from your Qantas Business Rewards account (up to 20,000 per Frequent Flyer Membership Year). Points received from Family Transfers and your Loyalty, Platinum and Platinum One Bonus will not contribute to Points Club. You can enjoy your membership benefits from the moment you unlock Points Club, until the end of your next Membership Year. So, for example, if your Membership Year begins on 1 January 2020 and ends 31 December 2020, and you unlock Points Club or Points Club Plus in June 2020, you can enjoy your membership benefits until 31 December 2021. To enjoy your benefits for longer, just earn 150,000 or 350,000 points each Membership Year to retain Points Club or Points Club Plus. Points Club has two levels - Points Club, which is reached by earning 150,000 points in a Membership Year and Points Club Plus, which is reached by earning 350,000 points in a Membership Year. Both unlock travel benefits and discounts for members, including complimentary Lounge Invitations as well as the ability to earn Status Credits on Qantas marketed Classic Flight Reward and Classic Plus Flight Rewards. Where they differ though, is that Points Club Plus offers even more benefits and bigger discounts.
Your Frequent Flyer status is a direct result of your flying behaviour with Qantas Group and eligible partner airlines. It's calculated based on the number of Status Credits you’ve earned in a Membership Year.
Points Club levels are based on the Qantas Points you’ve earned within your Membership Year from a combination of points earned on the ground (up to 125,000 per transaction), from flying (20,000 per Membership Year), and transferred from your Qantas Business Rewards account (up to 20,000 per Frequent Flyer Membership Year).
No. Your Points Club membership is just for you to enjoy. You can't transfer any of the benefits, including Qantas Club membership, to another Qantas Frequent Flyer, family member or friend.
As a Points Club member, you can enjoy earning Status Credits on Qantas marketed Flight Rewards. Status Credits earned via Flight Reward bookings will contribute to your status, Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Reward, Platinum One Bonus and lifetime tiers.
Points Club Plus members get the exclusive ability to roll over up to 100 of their Status Credits into their next Membership Year. Points Club Plus members’ Status Credits that are rolled over from one Membership Year to the next will not contribute to Loyalty Bonus, Platinum Bonus Reward, Platinum One Bonus or Lifetime tiers, and for Platinum One members, will not contribute towards attaining or retaining status.
Points Club members are eligible for two Complimentary Lounge invitations per Membership Year. Complimentary Lounge Invitations will be assigned to the member’s account within two weeks of qualifying for Points Club and will then be available via the Complimentary Invitations Portal
If you unlock Points Club again in the following year, you'll receive your invitations within two weeks of your new Membership Year.
Invitations are valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Each Invitation is valid for a single visit for one person only before the expiry date.

They’re not valid in Qantas International First Lounges, Chairmans Lounge, Qantas Domestic Business lounges, Qantas oneworld® alliance airline, partner airline, or associated lounges.
Access may not be available if the applicable lounge is full or near capacity, and is at the full discretion of lounge staff. Access and use of Qantas Club lounges is subject to Qantas Club Terms and Conditions.

You’ll receive your unique voucher code by email from Qantas Frequent Flyer. You must be subscribed to receive ‘Exclusive offers for Qantas Frequent Flyer Members’ email marketing and have a valid email linked to your account. To make sure you’re subscribed check your ‘Interests and subscriptions’. Your voucher will be emailed to you and available in My Account within 21 days of attaining Points Club.
If the email address is shared across multiple accounts, all accounts linked to the email must be opted in to receive ‘Exclusive offers for Qantas Frequent Flyer Members’ email marketing to receive the voucher.

Points Club members will receive a $50 Qantas Wine voucher and Points Club Plus members will receive two $50 Qantas Wine vouchers. You’ll be eligible to receive your Qantas Wine vouchers once per Membership Year.
Only one unique voucher code can be used per transaction, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion. Each voucher can only be used once. Vouchers will be in My account when you attain or retain Points Club or Points Club Plus within 21 days.
Qantas Points can be transferred from a Qantas Business Rewards account to anyone that has an individual Qantas Frequent Flyer account in real-time at no cap on the total amount. You need a minimum of 3,000 points to transfer from a Qantas Business Rewards account.
To transfer points, simply login to your Qantas Business Rewards accountOpens in a new tab or window, select ‘Points’ from the top navigation bar, and then ‘Transfer points’ from the drop-down menu. You can then select which Qantas Frequent Flyer member to whom you wish to transfer the points and the amount.
Please note, while you can receive points transferred from multiple Qantas Business Rewards accounts, only a maximum of 20,000 points per Frequent Flyer Membership Year will count towards Points Club.
