To be eligible for Qantas Explorer fares, you must purchase the fares in conjunction with an international flight into Australia or New Zealand before commencing your journey.
Yes, you can change your travel dates as often as you need. A fare difference and fees will apply.
Yes, there are domestic New Zealand routes you can choose from when booking with Qantas Explorer. Please note, this option is not available to purchase if your international itinerary originates from New Zealand.
No. Qantas Explorer fares only include selected Australian and New Zealand domestic services.
Yes. You can travel within Australia and New Zealand domestically on the same itinerary as part of Qantas Explorer if your journey starts with an international flight from an origin other than Australia or New Zealand. It is important to note that the flight between Australia and New Zealand or vice versa will not be priced at a Qantas Explorer fare.
Your baggage allowance will be the same domestically as it is for international Economy. Additional baggage can be purchased for each flight.
