If you have an American Express Credit or Charge Card, you can turn your Membership Rewards® points to Qantas Points. Points that you could use towards your next trip.

With over 50 airline partners and affiliates including American Airlines, Alaska Airlines and British Airways, your Qantas Points can be used to travel to more than 1,200 global destinations. 

How to transfer

1. Link your Qantas Frequent Flyer account

Link your Qantas Frequent Flyer account to your Membership Rewards program account

2. Select amount to transfer

Remember all transfers must be a minimum of 500 points and all transfers made are final

3. Redeem your Qantas Points

Once points have been transferred, you can redeem them on flights, hotels, car hire and more

You must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn points. A joining fee may apply. Membership and points are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions.

Credit cards offering Membership Rewards® points are issued by American Express. Membership Rewards® terms and conditions and fees and charges apply. Membership Rewards® points are offered by American Express and their rewards program and accrue in accordance with the Membership Rewards® terms and conditions. Minimum thresholds and other restrictions (such as number of transfers in a particular period) apply. Qantas Points may only be transferred into the individual Qantas Frequent Flyer account of the cardholder. Qantas Points transferred into a Qantas Business Rewards account are not eligible to receive bonus Qantas Points. Once Membership Rewards® points have been transferred to Qantas Points they are subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program terms and conditions and cannot be reversed.
