Together, Qantas and China Eastern offer a realm of travel options between Australia and China.

Network

Until 27 July 2024, Qantas will operate direct services between Sydney and Shanghai Pudong airport.

In addition, customers have access to over 20 direct Qantas codeshare flights per week between Australia and Shanghai, Wuhan, Hangzhou, and Nanjing, operated by China Eastern. Customers can additionally travel to Shanghai via a Qantas operated flight between Australia and Singapore, connecting to a Qantas codeshare flight operated by China Eastern.

From Shanghai customers can connect to nineteen codeshare destinations throughout China, operated by China Eastern. Including destinations such as: Chengdu, Dalian, Fuzhou, Harbin, Kunming, Qingdao, Shenyang, and Xi’an.

Missed connections:

If you missed a connection due to the late arrival of your aircraft, the delivering carrier is responsible for ensuring you make your final destination.

Lost baggage:

If your baggage doesn't arrive on the same flight as you. Please contact the Arrival Service desk of the delivering carrier in the arrivals hall. A delayed baggage report will be created.
