About the Academy
We’re partnering with Griffith University and RMIT University to establish an Australian-first safety academy, offering courses designed to upskill safety professionals and develop safety leaders across all industries including aviation.
The Qantas Group Safety Academy will launch in 2025 with micro-credentials across a range of areas including safety culture, risk management, data management, cyber safety and human safety factors including sleep and fatigue management.
Students will have the option to study online at both universities or in person at RMIT University, and can apply for the credentials to be used as credit towards relevant postgraduate qualifications.
In 2026, we plan to expand the Academy's offerings to include accredited postgraduate qualifications before delivering research programs through the establishment of a Centre of Safety Excellence.
