Visiting from Hobart to Danang

Da Nang marks the halfway point between the capital in the north, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in the south. The main reason to visit is to explore the well-known My Khe Beach, Lang Co Beach, Hoi An and Non Nuoc Fine Arts Village. Lang Co Beach is lined with palm trees, the water is crystal-clear lapping onto white sand. There are plenty of water activities to enjoy from swimming, snorkelling, water-skiing and diving. There are many places to see including Cao Dai Temple, Da Nang Cathedral and My Son. Good bargains can be found in the shops and sample authentic Vietnamese food at Da Nang’s local markets. There is lots of seafood, fresh vegetables and beachfront cafes. A day trip to UNESCO-listed Hoi An is a must. You’re spoilt for choice for sightseeing in Da Nang.
