Changes to points earned on Emirates, how will you be affected?

  • Emirates has adjusted the earn rate for Skywards miles and Qantas Points for travel booked on Emirates with an Emirates (EK) flight number.
  • The new rate applies to Economy and Premium Economy cabins only, for travel on or after 15 October 2024. All bookings made prior to 30 July 2024 will not be affected. 
  • There are no changes to the Qantas Points and Status Credits earned on Emirates flights with a Qantas (QF) flight number.
  • To maximise your Status Credits and Qantas Points book direct on the Qantas website with a ‘QF’ flight number.
