Eligibility
Qantas Frequent Flyer Members and or Qantas Business Rewards Members and will earn 1 Qantas Point for every eligible $1 spent (GST exclusive) on payments to Miga for Eligible Products. Eligible Products are Insurance for Doctors: Medical Indemnity Insurance Policy, Eligible Midwives in Private Practice: Professional Indemnity Insurance Policy, Practices: Practice Indemnity Insurance Policy. Eligible spend with Miga is calculated on the total of the base premium and membership fee (where applicable) and after any government rebate, subsidies and risk management discount, excluding charges such as GST, Stamp Duty and ROCS.
From 1 July, 2025, members will now earn up to 5,000 Qantas Points when they join or renew their Miga Associate or Medical Membership subscription:
Eligible Qantas Frequent Flyer members and Qantas Business Rewards members can earn up to 5,000 Qantas Points when they join or renew their eligible Associate or Medical Membership subscription. Doctors in training (PGY2+), retired and maternity leave members with minimum insurance cover will earn 2,500 Qantas Points, and Qualified Doctors (Hospital, Hospital Specialist, General Practice and Specialist (other)) will earn 5,000 Qantas Points. Qantas Points will be credited to the relevant Qantas account after receipt of payment for an eligible Miga membership and in any event within 60 days of payment by eligible members. When do I provide my Frequent Flyer number?
To earn Qantas Points you need to provide your Frequent Flyer number to Miga at the time of payment for an Eligible Product.
How long until I get my Qantas Points?
Points will be credited to your Frequent Flyer account within 30 days of payment for an Eligible Product.
