You can use Qantas Points to treat yourself to a seat closer to the action. Or on occasion you can earn Qantas Points on tickets to eligible events.
How to earn and use Qantas Points with Ticketek
Choose ‘Use Qantas Points’ as your payment option on eligible events and log in to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account
Opt to use only Qantas Points or a mix of points and cash that suits you (a minimum of 2,000 points applies)
When available, select your tickets to an eligible event(s) and finalise your payment
Any Qantas Points earned on your ticket will be automatically credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account within 14 days of the event date

Yes, to earn and use Qantas Points with Ticketek you must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member and have a Ticketek account.

To earn Qantas Points with Ticketek:
- Link your Qantas Frequent Flyer and Ticketek accounts
- Select an eligible event on the Ticketek website
- Proceed to the payment page and checkout
Please note:
- Your Qantas Frequent Flyer and Ticketek accounts must be linked prior to purchasing tickets to eligible events to earn points
- Qantas Points will be automatically credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account within 14 days of the event date
- Qantas Points can’t be earned on events that allow you to use Qantas Points, Gift Card purchases, Ticketek Box Office Sales, Ticketek Call Centre Sales or Ticketek Fast Check transactions

No, you will not earn Qantas Points when purchasing tickets via Ticketek Box Office Sales, Ticketek Call Centre Sales or Ticketek Fast Check transactions.

Qantas Points can be used on eligible Ticketek events including concerts, sports, theatre, musicals, festivals, exhibitions, experiences and family if you have a Ticketek account.
To use Qantas Points with Ticketek:
- select an eligible event on the Ticketek website
- choose ‘Use Qantas Points’ on the payment page
- log in to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account, and select the number of Qantas Points you’d like to use. A minimum of 2,000 points is required per transaction.
Please note:
- Qantas Points can’t be used for Ticketek Gift Vouchers or on on events that are eligible to earn Qantas Points
Yes, a minimum of 2,000 Qantas Points must be used per transaction.
Yes, you can use a combination of points and cash for Ticketek events, however, you will not be able to earn Qantas Points on the cash component. Once you’ve selected ‘Use Qantas Points’ on the payment page of the Ticketek website, and logged in to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account, simply toggle the slider to select your desired mix of points and cash.
You can use as little as 2,000 Qantas Points for an event and the rest can be paid in cash.
If you don’t have enough Qantas Points to use for a Ticketek event you can:
- Purchase Top-up Points and boost your balance instantly with the remaining Qantas Points required for the event (minimum 1,000 and maximum 150,000 points). Terms and conditions apply.
- Transfer points into your Frequent Flyer account from eligible family members with Family Transfers
You will not be able to use Qantas Points on events that are eligible to earn Qantas Points, or on Gift Card purchases.

Any Qantas Points used with Ticketek will appear instantly on your Qantas Frequent Flyer activity statement.
Any Qantas Points earned with Ticketek will appear in your Qantas Frequent Flyer activity statement within 14 days of the event date.

Eligibility
Earning Qantas Points: Qantas Frequent Flyer members must have a Ticketek account and have linked it to their Qantas Frequent Flyer account prior to purchasing tickets to eligible events to earn Qantas Points.
Using Qantas Points: Qantas Frequent Flyer members must have a Ticketek account, and a minimum of 2,000 Qantas Points in their Qantas Frequent Flyer account to use Qantas Points on ticket purchases to eligible events with Ticketek.
Earning Qantas Points is available on all tickets except for shows in Margaret Court Arena: Melbourne, Rod Laver Arena: Melbourne, Newcastle Entertainment Centre: New South Wales, ICC Sydney Theatre: New South Wales and CommBank Stadium: New South Wales.
When do I provide my Frequent Flyer number?
To earn Qantas Points with Ticketek, you must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member, have a Ticketek account and link your accounts. To use Qantas Points with Ticketek you must have a Qantas Frequent Flyer member and a Ticketek account. You cannot earn and use Qantas Points on the same ticket purchase. Events and venues that earn Qantas Points are at the discretion of Ticketek and their promoters. The ability to earn Qantas Points may not be available on tickets to all venues, even for eligible events. The number of Qantas Points earned on these tickets will be determined by Ticketek and advertised accordingly at the time of sale. Qantas Points will ordinarily be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account within 14 days of the event date. If the event is cancelled or you cancel your purchase you will not earn Qantas Points. When using Qantas Points to purchase tickets on premier.ticketek.com.au, a minimum Qantas Points will be required per ticket.
