Terms and conditions

  • Eligible Routes for this offer are (or vice versa) (Eligible Routes):
    • Sydney - Adelaide,
    • Sydney - Brisbane,
    • Sydney - Gold Coast,
    • Sydney - Melbourne,
    • Melbourne - Adelaide,
    • Melbourne - Brisbane,
    • Melbourne - Canberra,
    • Melbourne - Hobart
    • Melbourne - Gold Coast,
    • Melbourne - Perth,
    • Adelaide - Brisbane,
    • Adelaide - Perth, and
    • Brisbane - Cairns.
  • Customer must hold a current booking with REX for a flight that has been cancelled by REX on an Eligible Route (REX Customer).
  • REX Customer agrees to provide, as requested by Qantas, e.g. REX booking confirmation, full flight itinerary and full passenger names, for the purposes of determining your eligibility for the REX Customer Offer.
  • Subject to availability and verification of eligibility, Qantas will offer a REX Customer an Economy class seat on a Qantas operated flight on an Eligible Route, that matches the passenger names, travel dates, and original departure and arrival port for the Eligible Route as specified on the REX itinerary (REX Customer Offer). REX Customer Offer will be on a Qantas operated flight with the lowest available fare on the same day and route as the REX booking, or the lowest available fare on the closest available date if the same day is not available. REX Customer is not able to book to a new origin or destination, and this offer is only available on direct flights on the Eligible Routes. Only one REX Customer Offer will be available per REX booking across Qantas and Jetstar. In the event a REX Customer has a flight connection they should ensure they have left sufficient time to make any onward travel.
  • To request this REX Customer Offer, REX Customers should visit qantas.com/rex and complete the form. Request must be made by 31 August 2024. Service fees do not apply. Bookings made any other way through the Qantas website or via a third party are not eligible.
  • Qantas will determine, in its sole discretion, whether a customer is a REX Customer and whether space is available on a Qantas operated flight. Qantas reserves the right to cancel any REX Customer Offer ticket in the event it determines, it its reasonable discretion, that a customer has not complied with these terms and conditions, Qantas' Fare Rules or Conditions of Carriage, or applied for duplicate bookings across Qantas and/or Jetstar.
  • Flights are subject to Qantas’ Conditions of Carriage and Fare Rules, and other relevant policies. Only amounts paid to Qantas are refundable, subject to the Conditions of Carriage and Fare Rules. Changes are subject to the Fare Rules - applicable change fee and fare difference may apply. REX Customer Offer is not transferrable or redeemable for cash.
