Just south of Hobart, the Huon Valley is a region where you will find green hillsides, boutique vineyards and serene waterways. It's renowned for its stone fruits, apples and fresh seafood.

Mona is the playground and megaphone of Mona creator David Walsh, who grew up in Tasmania, dropped out of uni, played cards, won, did some other stuff, and opened a small museum of antiquities, to which no one came. He declared it a triumph and decided to expand.
The result is Mona: a subterranean bunker housing Walsh’s private collection of art and antiquities.
