Godfreys is a kilometre-long stretch on the north-west coast of Tasmania. Being an east-facing beach, it’s cosseted from the howling weather that regularly batters Tassie’s West Coast but it’s still important to keep your wits about you. Stay clear of the headlands and rocks, and watch for rips in the low tidal zones.
