Winding through the bushland at the very tip of Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park (pictured), the Aboriginal Heritage walk hike charts a route past Aboriginal rock carvings and hidden beaches, perfect for rest stops (though you’ll need all your strength to climb out of Resolute Beach if you choose to go down). To refuel, pull over for a taste of the seafood- and salad-resplendent menu at Akuna Bay’s Shed, near the entrance of the park.
