Nestled in millionaire’s playground Sorrento, The Continental – The Conti to locals – is a 145-year-old landmark pub and social magnet reimagined as part of a luxe hotel complex. Top chef Scott Pickett (of Estelle, Matilda and Chancery Lane fame) is in charge of catering across the vast venue, which includes signature restaurant Audrey’s (named for his grandmother), street-side dining and a beer garden. Pickett’s even overseeing in-room menus for the 108-room InterContinental Sorrento Mornington Peninsula, a welcome five-star offering, featuring an outdoor pool, bay-view rooms and the Aurora Spa & Bathhouse.
