When to visit

A town of two seasons, Broome’s tropical climate means you only have to choose between wet and dry. In the dry season, from May to October, Broome is known for its clear blue skies and balmy nights, while the wet season, from November to April, brings with it heavy rains, heat and humidity. Visitors travelling to the Top End on the shoulder of the two seasons can expect slightly lower temperatures than summer and a relaxed, off-peak atmosphere.
