For a romantic escape or a girl’s weekend away, look no further than The Carlie Hotel. With a tropical poolside vibe and day-spa, it’s the place to stay in James Street. Fortitude Valley also offers a range of contemporary guest rooms and luxury hotels, close to boutique clothing stores, happening nightlife and upbeat music stores.

Visiting Brisbane for a major sporting event? Sports fans have plenty of hotels to select from near Suncorp stadium, a short walk to the action. Let us help you plan your stay to find a great hotel deal available in Brisbane city.

Things to do

You haven’t really seen Brisbane until you’ve been on a CityCat ferry – the smoothest way to travel to the CBD, South Bank and New Farm Park. Another fun outing is the picturesque walk along the over-water pathway from New Farm to the CBD stopping at Howard Smith Wharves precinct. Refuel at one of the many trendy restaurants.

South Bank and Roma Street Parkland are Brisbane’s premier inner-city outdoor recreation spots. Refresh for free in the sparkling lagoon surrounded by white, sandy beaches and sub-tropical plants.

But venture beyond the city limits to the leafy riverside neighbourhood of Sheewood and you’ll be rewarded with sprawling lush parkland, along with wetlands and lagoons that are home to an array flora and fauna. Take the time to plan your visit and discover one of the many attractions on offer.
