Getting into New Jersey from Newark Liberty International Airport

It’s easy to get to Jersey and the North Jersey Coast Line from the airport and the affordable, low-stress option is to take the AirTrain. It also connects passengers to airline terminals, rental car facilities, hotel shuttles and central parking lots. Best of all, you never have to worry about traffic conditions. Taxi, car and van services are available from outside the terminal. Other options include the ETS air shuttle, limousines, ride share and private transfers.

Getting around New Jersey

From rental cars to cycle hire, the local bus network or visitor bus tours, discover how easy it is to explore Jersey island. In Jersey, you drive on the left. Despite its small size, you’ll find plenty to explore with paved road winding between fields, farms and along the coastline. Sit back, relax and enjoy the view of Jersey's coastal lanes and fishing villages with a coach tour from a modern fleet to beautifully restored open top vintage buses. It’s easy to walk around Jersey to explore the off-the-beaten-track locations. Cycling is another popular way to get around with a network of cycle routes. So, pack a picnic from La Belle Gourmande delicatessen in St Aubin or the Central Market in St Helier. You can also catch a bus as New Jersey’s public transport system makes it easy to explore where you want to go. Taxis are also available with ranks along the harbour.
