Introducing the new inbound aircraft tracker

We’re always looking for ways to enhance your experience with us, which is why we’re introducing an inbound aircraft tracker feature within the Qantas App.

Introducing the Inbound Aircraft Tracker

The Inbound Aircraft Tracker is a Qantas App feature that enables you to track the status of your inbound aircraft if it is arriving from a different port. You will be able to view the current location of the aircraft approaching your departing airport, its estimated departure time, and arrival time once enroute. This tracking information is available 2 hours before your departing domestic flight or 4 hours before your departing international flight.

Please note, any indications of delays or updates to the inbound aircraft will not necessarily affect your departure time. We do not recommend making any changes to your pre-departure journey based on the aircraft status. If there are changes to your original itinerary you will receive an update via email, Qantas App alert or SMS.

Steps for accessing the Inbound Aircraft Tracker
