The original, and the only Disneyland designed and built under the direct guidance of Walt Disney himself, Anaheim's Disneyland has been thrilling generations of families since 1955. With eight different lands on offer, including Adventureland, Frontierland and Fantasy Island, you'll want to put aside at least a whole day just to cover it.
From the classics of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy to the icons of Pixar like Woody from Toy Story and more, all your favourite animated characters will be on display and ready for holiday snaps. For the older kids (and adults who like to be kids), Avengers Campus is the place where superb heroes go to train.
The downtown Disney district, set just outside the theme park, is perfect for souvenir shopping, dining and to take a break from the wonderful world within the park. When refreshed, catch a steam train for an 18 minute scenic journey around the park, then stop off at the Disney Gallery to marvel at the historic memorabilia and original drawings that helped bring Disneyland to life.
