The brand new Rockhampton Museum of Art is arguably the finest in regional Queensland, and the Pilbeam Theatre hosts a range of performances year round including international ballet companies and operas.
It's not surprising given its title as the beef capital of Australia that Rockhampton loves cattle. So much so, in fact, that you’ll spot their famous bull statues dotted through the town, representing the bovine breeds for which the area is best known. Why not stop by for a selfie with the kids?
