Situated on the island of Oahu, Waikiki is known for its shopping and water sports. For world class shopping, catch the iconic Waikiki Trolley to the open air Ala Moana Center. If shopping is not for you than head down to Waikiki beach for some fun in the water. Take a surfing lesson or rent a paddleboard and spend the day on the pristine reef water soaking in the Hawaiian rays. During the very mild Hawaiian winter, you can even head to the North Shore of Oahu to witness the world's best surfers take on the Banzai Pipeline. For something more adventurous, hike up the trail to Diamond Head and take in the most spectacular views on the island.
