Earning and redeeming American Express Membership Rewards points is subject to the Terms and Conditions of the Membership Rewards Programme available at membershiprewards.co.nzOpens in a new tab or window. Once Membership Rewards points have been redeemed for Qantas Points, they are governed by the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program and cannot be reversed.

The minimum transfer amount is 500 Membership Rewards points at any one time and points must be redeemed in whole numbers. Other restrictions (such as number of transfers in a particular period) may apply. Qantas Points may only be transferred into the individual Qantas Frequent Flyer account of the cardholder.

You must provide your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number to American Express when you link your Frequent Flyer number to your account.

Qantas Points will be credited to your Frequent Flyer account within one business day of transferring American Express points to your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.
