Qantas Business Rewards savings
As a valued agency partner, you may be eligible to become a Participating Agent and sell Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings to your eligible customers as part of The Qantas Business Rewards Program.
Exclusive to our Qantas Business Rewards members (‘Members’), Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings complement the Qantas Points that Members can earn from eligible Qantas flights and a wide range of partners on everyday business expenses.
The terms and conditions that apply to Participating Agents are outlined in this agreement (‘Qantas Business Rewards Agency Fares Agreement’). If a Participating Agent breaches any of these terms and conditions, then, without limiting any other rights, Qantas may remove the Participating Agent’s access to Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings.

Benefits as a Participating Agent
Participating Agents receive access to:
- Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings, which are Qantas corporate private fares available to eligible Members;
- Exclusive member offers and news from time to time;
- Qantas Business Rewards eLearning modules, webinars and podcasts at learninghub.qantas.comOpens in a new tab or window; and
- Information about Qantas Business RewardsOpens in a new tab or window at Qantas Agency Connect
Participating Agent Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible to sell Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings, a Participating Agent must:
- Be an IATA accredited or TIDs accredited travel agent authorised by Qantas and able to sell Qantas corporate private fares in accordance with Qantas requirements;
- Be registered and accepted into the Qantas Channel (and if the Participating Agent is ticketing via a consolidator, that consolidator must also be registered and accepted into the Qantas Channel and the booking agent have nominated their consolidator via Qantas Agency Connect. Even if a booking agency has joined the Qantas Channel, the agency must designate the consolidator via its IATA number);
- Have systems and processes, with appropriate security protocols, to restrict access to Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings to eligible Members and their Qantas Business Rewards Flyers for business travel purpose only;
- At all times be compliant with these terms and conditions, the Standard Agency Terms and Conditions (PDF)Opens in a new tab or window, the Qantas Business Rewards Airline Rewards Scheme Terms and ConditionsOpens in a new tab or window, the applicable fare conditions provided via the GDS and the ticketing instructions in the Qantas Business Rewards Agency Toolkit;
- Positively promote the program to Members and prospective Members that are customers of the Participating Agent;
- Educate staff so that they can explain the benefits of Qantas Business Rewards to customers;
- Provide reasonable access to Qantas sales teams to provide training and support for both Qantas Business Rewards and the selling of Qantas by the Participating Agent; and
- Use only Qantas approved advertising and promotional material when promoting Qantas Business Rewards.
In addition to meeting the above eligibility requirements, a Participating Agent must be approved by Qantas to access and sell Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings. Qantas reserves the right to determine in its sole discretion whether or not a particular agent is approved to access and sell Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings.
Member Eligibility
Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings may be offered only to eligible Members for their Flyers who are travelling for the Member’s business purposes. It is the responsibility of the Participating Agent to confirm with their customers that they are eligible to access Airline benefits including Member Savings within the program.
Fares must be paid by the Member and the Member’s own ABN must be entered in the booking.
Agents must not book Member Savings for any purpose or for any person or business that is not eligible under the Qantas Business Rewards Airline Reward Scheme Terms and ConditionsOpens in a new tab or window.
For example, Members are not entitled to claim Airline Benefits, including Qantas Points or purchase Member Savings under the Airline Reward Scheme for:
a. leisure or holiday travel;
b. travel by family members or other travel companions of Qantas Business Rewards Flyers; or
c. other travel that does not have a business purpose relating to trade or commerce or the supply of goods or services. (For example, trusts that do not have a business purpose relating to trade or commerce or the supply of goods or services are not eligible for Airline Benefits.)
Unless otherwise determined by Qantas, Members are not eligible for Airline Benefits if they:
a. have their principal place of business outside of Australia;
b. have a corporate or other private airfares agreement, discount or rebate provided by Qantas including through a third party arrangement, unless agreed by Qantas;
c. are travel agents, travel wholesalers or travel consolidators;
d. are other sellers or re-sellers of air travel; or
e. are not registered for GST or are not incorporated entities (except for those Members who joined before 01 Feb 2017).
Booking and Ticketing
Participating Agents must comply with the Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings fare conditions provided via the GDS and ticketing instructions in the Qantas Business Rewards Agency Toolkit (PDF)Opens in a new tab or window. Member Savings will not apply unless the applicable Member’s registered ABN is provided at the time of booking.
Availability of Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings is limited. They do not apply to all booking classes, flights or days, even within a specified offer period, unless otherwise specified. If a booking does not meet the requirements of these terms and conditions, the Qantas Business Rewards Airline Reward Scheme Terms and ConditionsOpens in a new tab or window, or the applicable offer, Qantas may cancel the booking or issue an Agent Debit Memo (ADM) for the difference between the fare paid and the publicly available fare in the next higher available booking class.
Terms and offers are subject to change
Qantas Business Rewards Member Savings may change or be removed at any time without notice.
Qantas may amend, terminate or suspend the Qantas Business Rewards Airline Reward Scheme or the terms and conditions for Participating Agents at any time.
