Not only are multi-currency cards specifically designed for making international purchases, but they also let you load money onto your card in multiple currencies ahead of time.
Any business paying for goods and services in more than one currency will benefit from the reduced fees associated with a multi-currency card. You can save money by loading funds onto your card in multiple currencies at a fixed, low-cost foreign currency rate or pay when you need to in your home currency at the current foreign currency rate. For example, you may use it to purchase supplies from an overseas merchant or for your regular software subscriptions.
