Benefits of real-time reporting

Real-time reporting provides Qantas Business Rewards account holders and users with full access permission to easily and conveniently keep track of booking activity and spend. The enhanced version of reporting in your Business Account allows for real-time visibility, providing more flexibility to access and download data as and when they need.

How to get the most out of your reporting

  • Log in to your Qantas Business Rewards Account and navigate to the Reporting tab at the top navigation bar

  • There are two report options you can view:
  1. Overview – Business Travel Spend: this report provides a dashboard view where you can enter your desired reporting period as well as filter by Traveller Name, Policy Compliance and Trip Name. Your results will display as a graph and you have the ability to export the data.
  2. Raw Transaction Data: this allows you to download expense reporting data based on the date range filter that you apply. You can save the raw data as different file types, allowing your business to tailor it to meet your needs.
To export your Raw Transaction Data, simply select Download and you will be able to chose which file type you wish to proceed with (XLSX, CSV or PDF).

  • The report shows your team’s compliance to an enabled Travel Policy providing insights on when compliance wasn’t met, across which travellers and bookings. This will help your business manage travel costs and where appropriate update the travel policy. The compliance will be shown by traveller and only applies to bookings made through your Business Account.

What your reporting can include

Your reporting will provide a view of your business’s travel-related spending, including:

  • Flight purchases, seats, extra baggage, change and fare and tax differences
  • Hotel bookings and cancellations made through your Business Account
  • Car hire bookings and cancellations made through your Business Account

Please note, if the transaction value is $0.00, then the amount will not appear on the report – for example, if you change a flight and there was no charge to change that flight, it will not appear on the reports. Flight refunds will not be included in the report.

The information you will see in your reporting dashboard will include bookings made in all channels where an ABN has been included in the booking, this includes bookings made through a Travel Agent or other Qantas Booking Channels.

If your booking was made through a travel agent, or other Qantas Booking channel, you will be able to view the booking however no transaction value will be provided.

Classic Flight Rewards where the Qantas Points were redeemed directly from your Qantas Business Rewards Account will appear on the reports. However, if any points were redeemed via an individual Frequent Flyer account, even if the ABN is entered, we will only show the cash amount paid on the report.

Bookings where Points Plus Pay was used as the payment method directly from your Qantas Business Rewards Account will also appear on the reports.
