The right supplies are everything in the construction business but flight and accommodation savings are the icing on the cake.
Parkview has been earning Qantas Points through trade supplier Harvey Norman Commercial for the past four years but these two businesses go way back. In fact, they’ve enjoyed a relationship throughout the design and construction company’s 22 years of operation.
Parkview, which oversees residential and commercial building projects across Australia, spends $5 million a year with Harvey Norman Commercial, meaning the Qantas Points have been plentiful. They’re handy, too, says general manager Simon Gobbo – offering flexibility when the company pays for staff flights, cars and accommodation.
Sydney-based Parkview is expanding regionally and up the east coast. There’s extraordinary growth in aged care and retirement living – especially with “more sophisticated” offerings, explains Gobbo – and in health, education and justice, too.
He says Harvey Norman Commercial has remained a strong partner during Parkview’s growth, because of its wide range of kitchen, bathroom and Smart Home Automation products, its skill in finding quality options to fit budgetary requirements and seeking out higher-value buys.
Then there’s the aftercare service; a handover warranty pack states where products come from and the warranty details, as well as who to call. “Aftercare services are an important part of our business,” says Gobbo. “Once our project is technically completed, ongoing care is peace of mind for us.”
Qantas would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the local lands and waterways on which we live, work and fly. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
