When you're a Qantas Business Rewards member, whether you're flying for business, hiring a car to visit clients or booking a hotel stay in a nearby city, you can earn Qantas Points for your business. In fact, there are nine different ways to earn points for yourself and your company the next time you take off for work. Here's how:
Even when you're booking flights for work, you or your employees, as the traveller, never have to miss out. When you're a Qantas Business Rewards member, you just need to make sure the traveller's Frequent Flyer number has been added to the booking and they'll earn 250 bonus Qantas Points on eligible flights in their own Qantas Frequent Flyer Account†. That’s on top of the Qantas Points^ and Status Credits they already earn with their Frequent Flyer membership.
Just remember when you're booking flights for business to book via the Qantas Business Rewards website, the Qantas App or via your travel agent to ensure that you also get access to your flight discounts. It also helps to save any employees that travel for your business as a traveller in your Qantas Business Rewards Account so that these details will be automatically populated.
One of the key benefits of becoming a Qantas Business Rewards member is that your business is also rewarded every time that you or your employee flies for work. The business pays for the ticket so it makes sense that it is also rewarded!
When you book through your Qantas Business Rewards Account, the Qantas App or get your Travel Agent to add your ABN to a flight booking, your Qantas Business Rewards Account will earn up to 40 points per 100 that the person travelling earns, depending on the businesses membership level.
Plus, you could save up to 10% off the base fare of selected flights~, depending on your membership level.
One of the biggest drawcards of booking hotels as a Qantas Business Rewards member is that the person travelling is not the only one to earn Qantas Points - you can also earn points for your business on every eligible booking.
In addition to the 3 points per $1 that the Frequent Flyer earns, Qantas Business Rewards members are able to earn an extra 3 points per $1 spent for the business when booked directly in their Qantas Business Rewards Account.
Qantas Hotels have more than 500,000 worldwide partner hotels listed in Australia and overseas. All hotels listed come with a Price Promise, which means that if you do find a lower publicly available rate on any Australian-registered website for fully comparable accommodation on the same day you book, you'll be refunded the difference in price. You'll also receive 1,000 Qantas Points for every successful claim.
On the ground, if you or your employees need a vehicle to travel between meetings or to visit clients, if you hire a car with Avis or Budget the person driving will earn 4 Qantas Points for every $1 spent in Australia, or 700 points per rental overseas. Simply add the Frequent Flyer details of the person driving, and they'll earn points towards their personal Frequent Flyer Account.
Like Qantas Hotels, the same additional earn potential applies for Avis or Budget car hire bookings made through your Qantas Business Rewards Account. You can book and manage you or your team's car hire all in one central place, either separately or as part of one comprehensive trip. Simply log into your Qantas Business Rewards Account, click the car hire tab and add your pick-up location and dates. Plus, you'll earn 4 Qantas Points per $1 spent for your business>> (this is on top of what the person driving has just earned). For Avis or Budget car hire bookings made through qantas.com, just add your ABN to your company's car rental booking.
Make the most of your points earning opportunity and make your purchases on a Qantas Points earning credit card, and you can earn even more points for every dollar you spend on your bookings. See our great business credit card offers here.
